Every year at SBIN has a theme - a question the whole community explores together, from January through to December. Each event builds on the last. By the time you reach the end of the year, you've thought about your business from angles you'd never have found alone. And so has everyone around you.
This isn't a calendar. It's a journey.
The Journal
Before you go: what do you want from today? During: notes, questions, the thing someone said that you need to remember. After: who you met, what shifted, what you're going to do differently. Private. Yours. Waiting every time.
A year in, you'll have a real record of how your thinking - and your business - changed. Written in your own words, one session at a time. This is the notebook you always meant to keep.

Is there a business networking group in Stroud?
Yes. SBIN (the Stroud Business and Innovation Network) is a business network for the Stroud District, Gloucestershire. We run monthly in-person networking events for business owners across Stroud, Nailsworth, Stonehouse, Painswick, Minchinhampton, Cam and Dursley, Wotton-under-Edge and Berkeley.
Who is SBIN for?
Anyone running or leading a business in or around Stroud, of any size and in any sector: sole traders, freelancers, makers, accountants, engineers, tradespeople and established firms with a team. The room is deliberately mixed, because your best introductions rarely come from your own line of work.
How often are SBIN events, and where are they?
We meet monthly, in person, at venues in and around Stroud. Every event has a theme and the rooms are small enough that you actually talk to people. Each event page lists the date, time and venue.
How much does it cost?
Joining SBIN is free. Some events are free and some carry a small ticket charge; the price is always shown on the event page before you book.
How do I join?
Sign up on the website, tell us what you do, and you can book onto events, appear in the Stroud business directory and connect with other members. You can also just turn up to an event first.
